Now, please do not even start to defend pink players whilst they are still serving their punishment for being aggressive towards friendlies, they did deserve punishment. I had only just enough time to ask them to stop before I was sunk. My first action was to get going and look around for the enemy but no, it was a 'friendly' cruiser quite happily targeting me. Due to it being my first battle it took longer than normal to load, upon getting into battle I found myself to be half health and still being shot at. One personal instance from last night for example, I decided to have a quick play on the OBT after a few hours testing and thought I would grind my Nicholas. I for one will not be nice to a pinkie as it does take a lot of friendly damage to become pink (I know I have tested this in our test environment) but I will be wary of them. You are correct about the higher possibility of unintentional friendly fire but we are now looking at players with only having the intention to damage/kill friendlies. So, be nice to the pinkies, but stay vigilant. I think I've sunk 2 or 3 friendlies with badly timed or aimed torpedoes or due to them making a completely unexpected turn. I've had a few friendly fire accidents with torps. Especially with torpedoes since you can not always know what a friendly player will do, or you sometimes fail to notice a friendly ship just as you launch your torps. The risk for unintentional friendly fire in this game is much higher than in WOT. Yes sure, because everyone TKs on purpose. That, or let us kill the bastards like in WoT. So they had an incentive to actually play good games.Īnd if they get pink again soon after, system should keep note of them and ban them eventually. That would stop them from teamkilling once they turned pink.Īlso to get rid of pink they should have to grind out a total of x base experience. Torps shouldn't be able to cause flooding and HE fire when fired by a pinkie on friendly ships. I think pinkies should do only about 5% of hit damage to teammates, and that would be reflected as a full hit back on them. 2 ships down and the enemy hasn't even been spotted yet. Reflecting damage system immediately killed him too. I considered blowing him out of the water right then and there but didn't because I could have gotten pink too because the system is stupid. Right at the start of the match he set course straight for me.
